Before we move to Week 5, Let’s Recap Week 4
Looking Back at Week 4 (Genesis 22–36)
In Week 4, we walked through the lives of Isaac, Jacob, and Esau, witnessing how God remains faithful even when His people struggle with fear, favoritism, deception, and incomplete obedience. We saw that transformation is often slow and costly, yet God patiently shapes His people through surrender, repentance, and repeated encounters with Him. Despite human failure, God’s covenant promises moved forward—unchanged, unbroken, and full of grace.
Stepping into Week 5 (Genesis 37–50)
As we enter Week 5, the focus shifts to Joseph’s story—a journey marked by dreams, betrayal, injustice, suffering, and astonishing redemption. These chapters reveal how God works behind the scenes, weaving pain into purpose and loss into salvation. We will explore how God’s providence operates over time, how forgiveness overcomes bitterness, and how God uses what was meant for evil to bring life and deliverance.
As we read Genesis 37–50, stay curious:
- Watch how God works even when He seems silent
- Look for how suffering becomes preparation
- And keep your eyes open for how Joseph’s story quietly points us toward Jesus
The story is far from over — it is about to deepen.
